PingWest品玩8月27日讯，今日，字节跳动确认TikTok首席执行官凯文梅耶尔辞任，并表示尊重凯文的决定，也感谢他为TikTok付出过的努力。张一鸣发布公开信表“由于我们所处的环境不同，这件事情最终的处理结果不管怎么样，都可能对他的工作产生重大影响。我感谢凯文为解决这些问题所作的努力，并祝他一切顺利。”

凯文梅耶尔于今年6月1日正式加入字节跳动，担任字节跳动COO兼TikTok全球CEO，负责TikTok、Helo、音乐、游戏等业务，负责字节跳动全球部分职能部门（不含中国）。此前，凯文梅耶尔在迪士尼工作过20多年，曾任公司高级执行副总裁兼首席战略官。

张一鸣表示，Vanessa已经被任命为TikTok临时负责人，立即生效。其表示“我们正在迅速采取行动，寻找解决我们在全球面临的问题的办法，特别是在美国和印度。虽然我不能透露细节，但我可以向您保证，我们正在制定符合用户、合作伙伴和员工利益的解决方案。”

I trust that you've all seen Kevin's note. I ant to give you a fe thoughts on this.

First, I ant to thank Kevin, ho joined us just as e ere entering arguably our most challenging moment, in India and the US in particular. It is never easy to e into a leadership position in a pany moving as quickly as e are, and the circumstances folloing his arrival made it all the more plex. Kevin spoke to me, and I fully understand that the resulting oute that e land upon due to the political circumstances e are operating ithin could have significant impact on his job in any scenario, but particularly given his global role hile he's based in the US. I thank Kevin for his efforts toards a resolution to these issues and ish him ell.

Secondly, I ant to let everyone kno that e are moving quickly to find resolutions to the issues that e face globally, particularly in the US and India. I cannot get into details at this point, but I can assure you that e are developing solutions that ill be in the interest of users, creators, partners, and employees.

Third, I'm pleased to tell you that Vanessa has been named interim head of TikTok, effective immediately. As you all kno, Vanessa has been a rock on our team, providing intelligence, empathy, and thoughtfulness. She has helped lead the suess of TikTok in the US since the start of 2019, joining hen e had a small (but highly talented) team in the US. She is the right person to take TikTok forard as the platform continues to reach ne audiences, inspire creativity, and ping joy to our users.

Finally, I ant all of you to kno that I really appreciate the endless hours that you have orked, shutting out the noise around us to focus instead on our mission and hat e are building for those ho rely upon our platform.
